Virtual Assistant – Airbnb & Short-Term Rental Operations - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of a short-term rental business (Airbnbs and similar platforms). The ideal candidate will ensure smooth guest experiences, coordinate with cleaners, and oversee operational tasks that keep properties running efficiently.

In Short

• Handle guest messaging across Airbnb and other booking platforms.
• Monitor guest check-ins/check-outs and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Coordinate with cleaners to confirm scheduling and ensure timely turnovers.
• Monitor property cameras for compliance and guest safety issues.
• Oversee day-to-day operational tasks related to Airbnb listings.
• Maintain and update property information on Hospitable and Notion.
• Provide status reports and flag any operational concerns to the owner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of VA or property management experience (hospitality/short-term rentals a strong plus).
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• High level of competence, common sense, and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties at once.
• Proficiency with Airbnb, Vrbo, or similar booking platforms.
• Familiarity with Hospitable and Notion (or ability to quickly learn).
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools as required.
