Transmission Line Engineer - Remote

Overview

An experienced Transmission Line Engineer is needed for a remote opportunity with Asplundh Engineering Services.

In Short

• Develop PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE models for transmission line designs.
• Conduct site visits for line inventory and construction coordination.
• Generate project estimates and construction bid specifications.
• Coordinate with various representatives including construction and environmental teams.
• Engage with clients to strengthen relationships.
• Perform quality control on work conducted by others.
• Assist in proposal preparations including cost estimates.
• Collaborate with other Power Delivery groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Competency in PLS CADD software.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
• Pass a Criminal History Records Check and drug screen.
• Minimum of 3 years in Transmission Line Design.
• Proficiency in office software and drafting tools.
• Professional Engineering license or E.I.T. preferred.
• Strong PLS-CADD experience required.
