Overview

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a key technical advisor and product advocate, supporting the sales team in driving revenue growth for our SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions. Your role will involve working closely with customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, providing tailored solutions that integrate our networking and network security technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure successful sales engagements and customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Provide deep technical expertise on network security and related technologies.
  • Assist customers in network architecture design.
  • Respond to technical RFPs/RFIs and support proposal development.
  • Conduct technical workshops and product training.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and webinars.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and security requirements.
  • Provide feedback to product management based on customer insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Expertise in SASE technologies including SD-WAN and cloud security.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with network security protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls and cloud security solutions.
  • Proficiency in technical solution selling.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with customer engagement and account planning.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings.
