Overview

The Medical Value & Access Liaison (MVAL) is a field-based scientific expert who engages in peer-to-peer scientific and clinical value discussions with key national and regional decision makers in the healthcare sector.

In Short

• Field-based role covering the Eastern United States.
• Engage with Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and other decision makers.
• Provide clinical and scientific education to stakeholders.
• Deliver healthcare economic information and outcomes analysis.
• Attend medical and access conferences for insights collection.
• Develop National Account Field Medical Affairs plans.
• Respond to requests for medical information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Travel up to 40% of the time.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of clinical or pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
• 3+ years in a Medical Value & Access Liaison role.
• Oncology therapeutic experience required.
• Strong scientific knowledge and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret and communicate scientific data.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel frequently, including overnight trips.
• MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred.
