Network Engineer in Test - Remote

Overview

Arista Networks is seeking a Network Engineer in Test to work closely with development teams to ensure the highest quality of networking products through innovative testing methodologies.

In Short

• Collaborate with developers to identify and fix bugs in software and hardware.
• Write and execute test plans for Arista features and products.
• Design test network topologies for functionality and performance validation.
• Participate in agile development cycles with a focus on exploratory testing.
• Provide input during functional specification and software design reviews.
• Utilize test methodologies to ensure product quality.
• Work with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Possess strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
• CCIE certification is a plus.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test plans.
• Strong knowledge in Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with IXIA and/or Spirent test tools desired.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages desired.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience; MS preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• CCIE certification a plus.
