Overview

Aretum is seeking a skilled and experienced Proposal Writer to assist in generating high-quality content for RFP responses, for federal contracts. This is a 1099 Consultant role, ideal for candidates with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Solutions Architecture and proposal writing.

In Short

• Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams on proposal requirements.
• Develop, write, and edit proposal content that is compliant and tailored to RFP needs.
• Research and incorporate relevant information to enhance proposals.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST).
• Maintain knowledge of federal contracting regulations.
• Participate in proposal review meetings and incorporate feedback.
• Assist in developing supporting materials like executive summaries and presentations.
• Adhere to strict deadlines for content delivery and review.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing for federal contracts.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work with graphic designers for presentation materials.
• Strong understanding of federal procurement processes.
• Ability to analyze RFPs and develop compliant proposals.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR).
