Agile Team Lead - Remote

Overview

Ardent is seeking a seasoned Agile Coach to guide and support a large team of over 50 federal IT technical contractors within a multi-million-dollar program with the Department of Homeland Security.

In Short

• Implement and foster agile values and practices across the program.
• Interact with and coordinate project activities with Government Leadership.
• Act as a facilitator ensuring agile practices are followed.
• Remove impediments blocking team progress.
• Work with the development team to estimate user stories.
• Ensure acceptance criteria are achieved for delivered user stories.
• Conduct agile ceremonies including daily standups and sprint planning.
• Provide ongoing education and coaching on agile principles.
• Collaborate with program managers to enhance team performance.
• Engage with federal clients to align project goals with agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation (CBP BI).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agile coaching.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certifications.
• Proven ability to lead and coach large teams in agile adoption.
• Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with agile project management tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of federal contracting processes.
