UI/Visual Designer - Remote

In Short

• Design visually customized, branded marketplace UIs using Archive’s design system.
• Create mockups and concepts to support sales and strategy initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews with brand creative teams and incorporate feedback.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Lead QA for brand sites to ensure visual and functional integrity.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and UI standards.
• Contribute to branding and creative projects across Marketing and Sales.
• Surface UX and product feature requests and apply visuals to new features.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a design firm, agency, or consumer product company.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web and visual/graphic design work.
• Experience designing responsive web applications (mobile and desktop).
• High attention to detail with a passion for pixel-perfect UI design.
• Comfort presenting work and advocating for design decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback and iteration.
• Passion for accessible, inclusive design.
• Ability to work remotely (if not based in NYC).
• Bonus: Experience with ecommerce or retail brands.
