QA Engineer III - Remote

Overview

The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

In Short

• Works with Agile Program Manager, Digital Product Manager, and Business Systems Analyst to document and plan test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, C#.
• Troubleshoots existing automation and optimizes the automation framework.
• Supports functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicates with development teams to ensure proper test coverage.
• Builds upon existing frameworks to develop and execute automated test plans.
• Continuously improves automation framework and workflow processes.
• Leads scrum test teams by example, encouraging collaboration.
• Guides and mentors junior team members on automation trends.

Requirements

• Good understanding of OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with automation and manual testing frameworks.
• Proficient in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Experience in developing test scripts for BDD using Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with all levels of testing.
• Good knowledge of build management tools.
• Experience with Xray for test management in JIRA.
• Experience with continuous integration tools.
• Experience working with Agile teams.
• 5 - 12 years of experience in Testing/SDET/Dev.
