Senior Carbon Specialist - Remote

In Short

• Develop calculations and reports on carbon footprint according to applicable standards (GHG Protocol, ISO, etc.)
• Implement projects related to life cycle assessment of products and buildings (LCA)
• Conduct audits and verifications of CO2 emissions according to ISO 14064 (knowledge of ISAE 3000 is a plus)
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect and analyze data
• Establish and monitor CO2 and other greenhouse gas (GHG) emission indicators according to applicable standards
• Manage documentation related to calculations and emission management activities
• Develop strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions
• Support the development and implementation of sustainability policies and emission reduction strategies
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented actions and adjust strategies based on results
• Conduct training for employees on emission management and carbon footprint reduction strategies
• Participate in projects related to emission compensation.

Requirements

• Higher education in environmental protection, environmental engineering, natural sciences, or related fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience in carbon footprint calculation
• Knowledge of standards and methodologies for calculating greenhouse gas emissions
• Good analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Advanced English language skills
• Experience in obtaining data and emission indicators for carbon footprint calculation
• Managing the entire data process from the client necessary for carbon footprint analysis (acquisition, archiving, processing, analyzing)
• Use of calculation tools such as MS Excel
• Ability to track and understand legal and regulatory provisions and relate them to business practice
• Knowledge of international and national calculation coefficients.
