Associate Merchant – Women’s - Remote

Overview

As an Associate Merchant, your support in the execution of profitable, regional product line assortments for the North American Women’s product line aligns with the strategy, as assigned by the Senior Merchant 1, to achieve our company goals, consumer needs, and focuses on brand opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market.

In Short

• Support execution of merchandising strategy for Women’s product category.
• Maintain data integrity of product line management systems.
• Contribute to management of product lifecycle from development to commercialization.
• Support seasonal selling plans and overall strategic direction.
• Communicate with PLM teams for regional needs incorporation.
• Research global marketplace for consumer and market insights.
• Coordinate samples and tasks with other Merchants.
• Uphold Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and sample management.
• Analyze business trends and present findings to the Merchandising team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Outdoor Retail or related fields.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts and cost calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Leadership and teamwork skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Understanding of active apparel market in the outdoor industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Willingness to travel for trade shows and presentations.
• Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions.
• Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
