In Short

• Build and enhance the Arbital web platform.
• Work on both backend and frontend development.
• Leverage actuarial background to improve engineering output and quality.
• Review code and financial reporting methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and manage data requirements.
• Model financial outcomes and evaluate healthcare trends.
• Utilize strong backend development skills in Python and AWS.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams.
• Drive innovation and deliver valuable features.
• Contribute to the overall development of products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or similar field.
• Completion of four or more Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an actuarial analyst.
• Experience with medical claims data, especially Medicare, Medicaid, or ACO business.
• Strong technical skills in R, Python, SQL, Next.js, or React.
• Startup experience is highly preferred.
