Overview

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that power advanced lighting systems for aircraft, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

In Short

Design, implement, and test embedded and application-level software for aircraft lighting control systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with lighting hardware.
Ensure compliance with FAA and ICAO safety standards.
Provide support for deployed systems, including troubleshooting and performance enhancements.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Participate in R&D initiatives for system improvements.
Engage with customer feedback to inform software design.
Implement secure OTA update mechanisms for lighting systems.
Develop comprehensive software testing strategies.
Support mechanical design standards and FAA conformity processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in software development in embedded systems.
3+ years of program management experience.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Java.
