General Ledger Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The General Ledger Supervisor will oversee key local General Ledger functions for North America, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards while partnering closely with the Business Shared Services in Argentina.

In Short

• Oversee General Ledger functions for NAM and AHI.
• Approve monthly close journal entries.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, forecasting, and reserves allocation.
• Support external audits and prepare quarterly reserve schedules.
• Provide technical accounting expertise.
• Assist in implementing consistent accounting policies.
• Drive process improvements within the accounting department.
• Maintain desk procedures documentation.
• Comply with safety regulations while on Company property.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management.
• 6+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google tools.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; French/Portuguese a plus.
• Overtime required during critical periods.
• International travel up to two times per year.
• Public Accounting experience is a plus.
