They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs in modernizing the digital disability benefits experience on VA.gov.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails.

Requirements

• Familiarity with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS environments.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and data modeling.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to accessibility and government compliance standards.
• Ability to work in collaborative, mission-driven teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Python.
