Overview

The Senior Backend Developer (ASO) at AppFollow will focus on developing scalable data solutions and ASO insights to enhance app store performance, working in a fully remote environment.

In Short

• Drive the full lifecycle of ASO-related features.
• Develop scalable infrastructure for app store data.
• Work on algorithms for ASO insights and recommendations.
• Implement data aggregation and analytics for performance monitoring.
• Improve ASO data modeling with multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure.
• Ensure efficient, testable, and well-documented codebase.
• Participate in system architecture design.
• Full-time remote position with optional monthly meetups in Belgrade.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years with asyncio in Python.
• Strong knowledge of FastAPI and aiohttp.
• Strong SQL skills, particularly MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with ORM frameworks.
• Experience with message brokers.
• Strong experience in data processing pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Upper intermediate English and Russian.
