Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Apollo.io is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team, where you will ensure accuracy and efficiency across multiple financial areas.

In Short

• Execute month-end close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Conduct variance analysis and report on financial trends.
• Manage vendor relationships and process invoices.
• Support annual audits by preparing documentation for external auditors.
• Partner with FP&A to maintain accrual balances.
• Drive accounting process improvements.
• Assist in developing new accounting policies.
• Work on ad hoc projects in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Big 4/Public Accounting experience is a plus.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in Netsuite preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly adaptable and motivated.
