HR Specialist - Remote

Overview

The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting coordinator employees and benefits operations for Apartment Life (AL). This leader will be passionate about the vision and mission of AL and combine this passion through training, one-on-one support, administration, and implementation.

In Short

• Part-time position (20 hours per week)
• Support payroll and benefits operations
• Direct contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits questions
• Assist in bi-weekly payroll and monthly benefit enrollment processes
• Maintain accuracy in HRIS
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of program employees
• Track employee checklists in Asana
• Conduct exit interviews for departing employees
• Strong communication and organization skills required
• Customer service experience preferred

Requirements

• College degree preferred
• Experience in customer service preferred
• Knowledge of payroll and benefits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
• Proficiency in Excel and task-based software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Discretion in maintaining employee confidentiality
• Self-starter attitude
