Engineering Manager, Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will lead the Infrastructure team to design, build, and operate the systems that support our product and the engineers who build it.

In Short

• Lead the team that improves Anrok's reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Set the technical strategy for our infrastructure and drive technical decisions to achieve it.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams and cross-functionally to meet company goals.

• Play a hands-on role in the technical success of the team, including participating in code reviews and writing code.
• Refactor and optimize application code for better performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as the manager or technical lead of an infrastructure team.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud-deployed software at scale.
• Experience with relational databases and maintaining high availability.
• Security mindset with careful consideration of edge cases.
• Ability to articulate tradeoffs in design considerations.
