Field Service Engineer - Remote (Atlanta Area)

Overview

The Field Service Engineer - Remote (Atlanta area) is responsible for providing service and support at customer sites throughout their assigned territory, focusing on low voltage distribution gear and related power distribution equipment.

In Short

• Provide installation supervision, testing, maintenance, and repair work.
• Prepare technical reports and monitor spare parts and tools.
• Maintain safety regulations and adhere to company policies.
• Interface with Project Management and Site personnel.
• Deliver excellent customer service and address client needs.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers.
• Work to eliminate waste and add value to processes.
• Experience in electrical power distribution and related fields.
• Knowledge of UL Standards and electrical schematics.
• Use test equipment effectively.

Requirements

• Associates degree in electrical power distribution or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Military experience preferred.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical systems preferred.
• 3-5 years in design of low voltage switchgear assemblies.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of UL Standards applicable to the role.
• Experience with electrical power monitoring systems.
• Ability to use multimeters and current meters.
• Strong customer service skills.
