Temporary Tax Senior Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Temporary Tax Senior Manager to lead our direct tax and tax provision functions in a dynamic, marketplace environment.

In Short

• Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes.
• Manage deferred taxes and valuation allowances across U.S. and international entities.
• Ensure SOX-compliant internal controls over tax reporting.
• Partner with global finance teams for timely filing of income tax returns.
• Maintain accurate documentation for transfer pricing and foreign tax credit positions.
• Monitor OECD and global tax reform developments.
• Identify strategic tax planning opportunities to reduce global effective tax rate.
• Support M&A due diligence and structuring efforts.
• Evaluate tax impact of digital marketplace operations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Tax or JD/LLM preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in U.S. federal, state, and international income tax.
• Strong expertise in ASC 740 and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage tax provision processes for multinational companies.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (preferably eCommerce or SaaS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and tax compliance tools.
• Exposure to OECD Pillar Two or BEPS 2.0 implementation.
