Senior Tax Manager - Remote

Overview

As the Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the Company’s tax strategies and ensuring tax compliance and planning to minimize tax risk and liabilities.

In Short

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all tax compliance and planning for the company and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare timely and accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns for multiple entities.
• Work with members and tax advisors regarding tax compliance matters.
• Provide tax compliance planning for foreign disregarded entities.
• Lead quarterly state planning and compliance processes.
• Manage interaction with tax agencies regarding auditing and inquiries.
• Prepare monthly tax distributions to members.
• Propose and implement processes to improve tax planning and compliance.
• Work with FP&A team to develop tax forecasts.
• Support companies equity compensation program tax needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience, prior experience in public accounting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA or Master's degree preferred.
• General partnership and corporate tax knowledge.
• Understanding of federal and multi-state income taxation.
• Proven track record of reliability and accuracy.
• Detail oriented with good analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Familiarity with Netsuite.
