Overview

As a Temporary Payroll Tax Accountant at Angi®, you will be responsible for auditing, reconciling, and correcting payroll tax filings across the Company’s U.S. entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

In Short

• Audit & reconcile approximately 200 federal, state and local payroll tax filings.
• Research and resolve tax variances and file amendments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all audits performed.
• Work remotely up to 40 hours per week.
• Expected duration of the position is 3 months.
• Hourly rate ranges between $35 and $45.
• Requires 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience.
• Advanced Excel skills are necessary.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll tax experience for large multi-state employers.
• Ability to operate independently with little oversight.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Advanced Excel skills including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Complete discretion and confidentiality.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
