In Short

• Manage all aspects of payroll reconciliation and journal entries.
• Handle payroll taxes at federal, state, and local levels.
• Work closely with payroll processing team to resolve discrepancies.
• Review quarterly payroll tax filings and resolve issues.
• Accrue payroll, bonus, and benefit expenses monthly.
• Support SOX and statutory audits related to payroll.
• Maintain GL mapping between payroll and accounting systems.
• Monitor accounts for unexpected changes.
• Calculate and process bi-weekly payroll when necessary.
• Stay informed of payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes and their impact on financial statements.
• Experience with Rippling Payroll and Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with publicly traded companies is a plus.
