GL Payroll Accountant - Remote

Overview

We at PeoplePlusTech are currently looking for General Ledger Payroll Accountant to join as an Independent Contractor.

In Short

• Experience in US and Canada Payroll Accounting.
• Accounting graduate or strong payroll accounting background of at least 3 years.
• This is a fully remote work and night shift schedule.
• Prepare general ledger journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses for payroll.
• Oversee pre- and post-payroll audits for stakeholders.
• Develop monthly cash forecasts for payroll-related expenses.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and analyses of fringe accounts.
• Produce ad hoc reports as requested.
• Collaborate with HR and third-party vendors to resolve payroll issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or relevant payroll accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office is required.
• Experience with SAP and Blackline is an advantage.
• Excellent Service Orientation skills and analytical skills.
• Willing to work fully remote on US time zone.
