Overview

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical interface between IT and Sales, contributing to the success of a leading Value-Added Distributor for IT infrastructure and security software in Europe.

In Short

• Technical responsibility for selected software solutions in IT infrastructure and Windows environments.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships in channel sales, both on-site and remote.
• Support technical presentations, product tests, and proof-of-concepts in the PreSales process.
• Assist partners in implementing and integrating complex software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with sales, manufacturers, and support to develop comprehensive customer-specific solutions.
• Contribute to market development in German-speaking regions through technical consulting.
• Strengthen market position as a Value Added Distributor through expertise.

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Several years of professional experience in technical sales in the IT sector.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure or security solutions is ideal.
• Solid IT knowledge based on training, studies, or comparable practical experience.
• Solution-oriented consulting is your strength.
• Strong communication skills and pronounced team spirit.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell) or motivated to develop in this area.
• Nice to have: IT channel knowledge and distribution experience.
