Overview

The IIoT Sales Manager position seeks a hunter to drive the next level of industrial communication in the DACH region.

In Short

  • Systematic expansion of new customers in OEM, machinery, intralogistics, and system integration.
  • Development of existing key accounts and expansion at multiple levels.
  • Sales of software solutions and hardware complete solutions.
  • Positioning innovative technologies with decision-makers and technical contacts.
  • Management of tenders, contract negotiations, and closures.
  • Building and maintaining distributor and partner networks.
  • Representation at trade fairs, conferences, and customer events.
  • Careful pipeline maintenance, forecasting, and KPI tracking.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in the industry, automation, or IIoT environment with proven successes.
  • Proven experience in acquiring new customers and closing complex deals.
  • Active network in DACH (OEMs, machinery, system integrators, intralogistics).
  • Routine in consultative selling: analyzing customer needs, developing use cases, arguing business cases.
  • Negotiation security at C-level and technical level.
  • Willingness to travel 40-60% within the DACH region.
  • Very good German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (regardless of provider).
