HR Manager - Remote

Overview

Angaza is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its Kenya People Operations team, based in the company’s Nairobi office. This role will be responsible for administrative support for hires in Kenya, acting as the primary point of contact for most requests, including those related to payroll and benefits administration, purchase requests, and operations requests.

In Short

• Handle payroll and benefits administration for Kenya employees.
• Administer company-wide required security, compliance, and HR trainings.
• Manage and update employee records in the HR global management system.
• Support hiring processes for Kenyan operations.
• Lead engagement activities for the Nairobi office.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and employment practices.
• Provide reporting on recruiting metrics to senior leadership.
• Support work permit needs and travel bookings.
• Drive People Ops projects to improve employee experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in HR.
• 4+ years of experience in a People Operations / HR role.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan labor laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
