Overview

As a lead in Derivatives Operations at Anchorage Digital, you will play a mission-critical role in supporting the full post-trade lifecycle of complex derivative products primarily within digital assets.

In Short

  • Lead the operational support for post-trade lifecycle of digital asset derivatives.
  • Manage trade capture, confirmation, margining, and settlement processes.
  • Partner with various teams to ensure operational controls and procedures.
  • Use analytics tools to automate operational workflows.
  • Navigate complexities of digital asset derivatives across jurisdictions.
  • Stay updated with cryptocurrency industry trends and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coach team members and improve processes.
  • Forge relationships with key partners and external counterparties.
  • Identify opportunities to de-risk operational processes.
  • Contribute to the development of new tasks and standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in settlement activities for institutional clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and agility.
  • Understanding of traditional financial services and crypto-native institutions.
  • Experience with Python and SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to manage operational complexity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines related to settlements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks effectively.
  • Confidence in interfacing with financial investors and executives.
  • Passion for building early-stage startups.
