Junior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

Analytica is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support a mission critical endeavor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in consulting and delivery capacity to provide solutions that tackle complex problems.

In Short

• Support the agency's mission to provide high-quality healthcare.
• Work across different project workstreams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop interactive dashboards in Python, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
• Conduct ETL and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Apply ML techniques for predictive analytics.
• Design and deploy NLP and AI/ML models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and optimized performance of ML algorithms.
• Produce documentation and presentation materials.
• Maintain versioned documentation for compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
• 0-3 years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Experience in dashboard development with SQL and Power BI.
• Experience designing ETL processes across diverse data systems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with healthcare analytics is preferred.
