A. Morton Thomas, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is seeking a highly motivated Transportation Project Manager to assume a key role in the firm’s growing Richmond, Virginia office. Location is flexible.

In Short

• Responsible for client coordination and managing a design team.
• Perform Quality Control reviews and prepare scope and fee proposals.
• Adhere to project budgets and schedules.
• Assist with RFP responses and presentations.
• Lead a design team in preparing roadway, sidewalk, and storm drainage construction plans.
• Manage design tasks including roadway, trail, and sidewalk design.
• Conduct storm drainage design and stormwater management design.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans.
• Handle quantity and cost estimating, utility adjustment plans, and coordination.
• Engage in other engineering design and support tasks.

Requirements

• Virginia licensed Professional Engineer.
• Minimum of 15 years Transportation Engineering experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Lead a design team effectively.
• Technical proficiency with Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
