Overview

The Protection & Controls Substation Project Manager role is a mid-senior level, full-time, permanent position that allows you to work remotely. This position supports a portfolio of engineering projects for various clients and is responsible for ensuring successful project execution.

In Short

• Manage teams of engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Lead projects from pre-proposal stage through completion.
• Create and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate project progress with stakeholders.

• Order materials and support procurement for projects.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of project finance principles.
• Domestic travel up to 25% required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
• Experience in Power Transmission and Distribution projects required.
• 2+ years as a Project Manager for high voltage substation projects required.
