Project Manager (HVACR / Controls) - Remote

Overview

ACTuate is seeking a talented individual inspired by learning, adventure, and working within a fast-paced start-up environment to join our team in the role of Project Manager (HVACR / Controls). This person will be responsible for the successful execution of HVACR controls installation projects within NY and the greater northeast region.

In Short

• Identify subcontractor trade partners and negotiate rates for technicians.
• Train trade partner technicians on ACTuate standards.
• Manage all aspects of project implementation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site visits for assessments and QA.
• Utilize ACT Hub data for troubleshooting.
• Maintain field notes and outcomes of technician work orders.
• Build positive working relationships with customers.
• Communicate regularly with customers to meet their needs.
• Participate in the design and documentation of project management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Vocational Trade Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration Systems.
• 3-5 years Project Management experience.
• Effective communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and online platforms.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various conditions.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
