Senior Protection & Controls Substation Drafter - Remote

Overview

The Senior Drafter role is a mid-level, full-time, permanent position. This position is fully-remote, allowing you to work from home Monday - Friday each week.

In Short

• Work remotely from home.
• Draft wiring and layout diagrams for electrical utility systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers.
• Use AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Bentley Microstation, and Bentley Projectwise.
• Create and store drawings electronically.
• Prepare engineering drawings for high voltage electrical systems.
• Manage documents from project inception to completion.
• Ensure schematics are checked in and out for approval.
• 7+ years of drafting experience required.
• Associate Degree in Engineering CAD/Design required.

Requirements

• Experience with AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation required.
• Experience drafting for electrical engineering preferred.
• Detail-oriented with clear communication skills.
• 7+ years experience in drafting.
• 1+ year experience with Bentley Projectwise required.
