Supply Chain Manager, Production Planner - Remote

Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will be part of the Supply Chain team at Amgen, playing a critical role in production planning and process improvement initiatives to support the company's mission of serving patients.

In Short

• Participate in cross-functional initiatives for supply chain improvement.
• Support capacity planning and forward-looking forecasts.
• Interface with Global Supply Chain Planning.
• Conduct scenario analyses for production planning.
• Develop and implement production planning tools and methodologies.
• Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Communicate updates to key partners including senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
• Generate and maintain key metrics for planning organization health.
• Collaborate on resolving planning conflicts impacting operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and 10 years of supply chain experience or equivalent.
• Experience in a cGMP regulated industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA or relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years experience with planning and analytics applications like SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Smartsheet.
• Experience in lean practices and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
