Overview

As a Process Development Senior Scientist at Amgen, you will play a vital role in supporting the AML Process Development- Drug Product / New Product Introduction Organization, helping to lead projects that impact patient lives through innovative drug products.

In Short

  • Manage all phases of project management from planning to completion.
  • Create comprehensive business cases including technical and financial requirements.
  • Oversee project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Serve as a liaison with management and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to define requirements.
  • Provide flexibility to support evolving project demands.
  • Lead efforts for complex system modifications.
  • Support new product launches and tech transfers.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or Master’s with 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Process Development.
  • Preferred educational background in Life Science or Engineering.
  • Experience with change controls and deviation management.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes (GMP regulated).
  • Familiarity with SAP and project management tools.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Conflict resolution abilities.
