Overview

The Global Mobility Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and executing relocation and immigration strategies that support the international talent mobility needs of a rapidly growing biotech company.

In Short

  • Oversee all global immigration processes including work permits and visas.
  • Design and manage domestic and international relocation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Finance teams on global mobility initiatives.
  • Deliver training on relocation and immigration best practices.
  • Manage relationships with immigration law firms and relocation vendors.
  • Generate reports on immigration metrics and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor program costs and manage mobility budgets.
  • Support scientists and specialized roles with niche visa requirements.
  • Focus on driving outcomes and delivering exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Business, Law, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in global mobility and immigration.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and global immigration regulations.
  • Experience managing global relocation programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
  • Familiarity with mobility tax issues.
  • Knowledge of biotech industry-specific challenges.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
