Overview

Amgen’s Translational Safety and Risk Sciences (TSRS) department is seeking a skilled, innovative Data Scientist at the Principal Scientist level to provide scientific leadership and play an active role in the process of drug development from late-stage discovery through marketed products.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience for PhD holders.
• 5+ years of industry experience with a Master’s degree.
• 7+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in programming tools like Python and R.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of AI/ML techniques and statistical modeling.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical research.
