In Short

• Execute NGS experiments to advance programs in Amgen’s large molecule portfolio.
• Support display-based protein engineering campaigns in Therapeutic Discovery.
• Contribute to the development of innovative NGS workflows.
• Follow and execute NGS library preparation protocols.
• Operate and maintain DNA sequencers and automated laboratory robotic systems.
• Organize and document laboratory data and work products.
• Implement troubleshooting approaches with guidance from team members.
• Communicate data and results clearly within the team.
• Participate actively in team projects.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 2 years relevant experience OR High school diploma with 4 years relevant experience.
• Practical experience in molecular biology techniques and NGS library sample preparation.
• Experience in laboratory high-throughput sample organization.
• Clear communicator who can work in teams.
• Troubleshooting experience in NGS library construction (preferred).
• Experience in operating DNA sequencers (preferred).
• Familiarity with automated liquid handlers (preferred).
