Associate Expense Audit - Remote

Overview

The Associate, Expense Audit is responsible for reviewing expense reports to identify exceptions and validate compliance with Amgen’s policies. This role is critical to Amgen’s efforts to maintain its internal controls and to ensure accuracy of employee-submitted expense reports.

In Short

• Perform timely and accurate audits of expense reports.
• Flag and escalate policy violations and compliance risks.
• Document findings and contribute to audit insights reporting.
• Support the implementation of new audit rules and exception handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to respond to user inquiries via ServiceNow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of financial operations experience.
• Familiarity with audit or compliance functions in regulated industries.
• Detail oriented with an aptitude for identifying non-compliance.
• Proficiency in recordkeeping and documentation practices.
• Knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, or other systems is a plus.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Customer service mindset.
