Overview

The role of the Internal Insurance Strategist (IS) involves discussing needs with and selling life, long-term care, and disability income insurance to clients and advisors in Crump’s Financial Institutions channel.

In Short

  • Lead clients through discovery of their personal or business needs.
  • Manage daily activities and drive sales activity.
  • Handle incoming calls from referral sources.
  • Complete insurance applications and manage the underwriting process.
  • Explain various insurance products and their advantages.
  • Oversee sales activity towards product purchase.
  • Educate clients on estate and insurance planning.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications.
  • Achieve established sales quotas in the insurance industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct life insurance sales experience.
  • Active Life and Health Insurance license required.
  • Proficiency in communication and customer service.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and underwriting processes.
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
  • Experience in a Windows environment.
  • Strong sales track record.
  • Possession of FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 6 and 63).
