Parts Clerk - Remote

Overview

The Parts clerk provides support to the Parts Manager and ensures customers are provided the highest level of customer service.

In Short

• Process customer PO’s, providing timely communication on order status and tracking.
• Maintain high customer service experience levels.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors.
• Approve vendor invoices for A/P processing.
• Process RMA requests and track returns for credit.
• Prepare parts quotes for customers.
• Review invoices, unbilled orders, and open purchase orders monthly.
• Continuously improve and update product knowledge by participating in educational and product training opportunities.
• Other administrative and clerical duties assigned or that may contribute to the growth of the company and you as an employee and person.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement management or supplier management within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with suppliers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on meeting client needs.
