Electrical Design Engineer (Low Voltage) - Remote

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with Low voltage skill set and a Building Services background to join our team and focus on energy savings and CO2 emission reduction.

In Short

• Design and implement electrical systems for commercial power.
• Work on CHP, refrigeration, HVAC, and renewable energy systems.
• Conduct load assessments and cable sizing.
• Produce LV design outputs to BS7671 requirements.
• Provide technical support during project implementation.
• Experience in electrical design for solar PV and BESS is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
• Ability to manage DNO applications.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and abroad.
• Promote energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Good understanding of BS7671 18th Edition regulations.
• Experience with Amtech or ElectricalOM software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused and passionate about renewable energy.
• Team player with a flexible approach to work.
• Advantageous to have design capabilities up to 11kV.
• Experience in harmonics and G99 related studies is a plus.
• Technical writing skills for project documentation.
