• We are seeking an experienced Backend/Server Engineer to join our team working on one of the top mobile social casino games.
• This is a full-time remote contract position (40 hours/week, core hours 9am–5pm US Central Time).
• You will primarily work on the PHP-based server-side development.
• Opportunity to contribute to the game’s Unity-based client (C#) and its admin tools.
• Work impacts a massive audience with hundreds of thousands of daily players.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, artists, and QA to deliver features.

• Debug and fix server issues quickly.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of server architecture and backend expertise.
• Strong knowledge of PHP or another server programming language.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience debugging complex issues in a live environment.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and large codebases.
• Ownership mindset and responsibility for work.
• Experience with game development is a plus.
• Familiarity with LiveOps and analytics is a plus.
