Overview

ALX Africa is seeking a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to architect, scale, and continuously optimize the automation systems that power the organization’s customer and stakeholder journeys.

In Short

• Own and optimize HubSpot CRM as the central platform supporting lead management.
• Design and implement multi-channel automation strategies including email and SMS.
• Architect and maintain data flows and integrations between HubSpot and other systems.
• Establish data hygiene and compliance standards for reliable CRM data.
• Partner with teams to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.
• Build and maintain dashboards for performance and lifecycle insights.
• Lead training and documentation initiatives for platform adoption.
• Act as a consultant on automation strategy and identify improvement opportunities.
• Stay current with automation and AI capabilities for efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in CRM or marketing automation roles.
• Expert-level experience with HubSpot and similar CRMs.
• Ability to manage complex automation programs across multiple audiences.
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to translate business strategy into scalable automation solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in building dashboards.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
