NOC Engineer - Remote

Overview

The NOC Engineer will oversee infrastructure and application services, responsible for monitoring, reacting to alerts/events, and troubleshooting problems.

In Short

• Monitor and support production systems and applications.
• Perform first level of analysis on NOC issues.
• Monitor product Batch jobs and troubleshoot problems.
• Collaborate with Support groups and Vendors for service availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of NOC experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting in a 24x7 environment.
• Experience with Linux scripting and command line.
• Knowledge of database management and application stacks.
• Hands-on experience with application/web server technology.
• Understanding of network protocols and utilities.
• Experience with Incident and Problem Management tools.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
