Senior Data Scientist - Pricing & Underwriting - Remote

Overview

As a Pricing Data Scientist, you will be the architect of the logic behind the Alt Value, Alt’s core pricing model, researching, designing, and validating models that price millions of alternative assets in real-time.

In Short

• Research and develop sophisticated pricing models to improve valuation accuracy.
• Identify new data signals and validate their predictive power.
• Partner with Product Engineering to refine Risk & Underwriting models.
• Collaborate with Experts to encode market nuances into automated features.
• Define and monitor model performance metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, focusing on pricing and financial modeling.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Python, and relevant libraries.
• Statistical rigor and understanding of experimental design.
• Collaborative experience in a sprint-based environment.
• Proficient in cloud environments and ML Ops infrastructure.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
