In Short

• Lead the development of requirements for revenue cycle initiatives.
• Leverage expertise in access management to align patient access practices and technologies with revenue cycle workflows.
• Serve as a knowledgeable access management resource supporting cross-functional teams outside of the revenue cycle.
• Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application solutions for assigned business areas.
• Possess senior-level functional knowledge of assigned application technology.
• Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to solicit business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into user story maps, product-specific designs, and configuration.
• Deliver functional specifications, design documents, and business process workflows for new development projects.
• Interact with development teams during the software build and testing process.
• Perform functional application configuration and testing ensuring programs meet business specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent/years of experience required.
• 4-7 years’ experience working with an Access Management solution in both an acute and ambulatory setting.
• Understanding of Patient Access/Access Management workflows to include Authorizations, Referrals, Medical Necessity checking, and Eligibility.
• Experience of requirements elicitation and analysis.
• Experience leading teams or projects is an asset.
• Experience working with Agile Principles is an asset.
• Experience breaking down requirements into User Stories is an asset.
