Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure Migration & Support) - Remote

Overview

As a Cloud Engineer at Alter Solutions Portugal, you will be responsible for migrating and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

In Short

• Review and analyze existing AWS infrastructure for migration.
• Develop and execute migration plans to Azure.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure during transitions.
• Implement Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other solutions.
• Ensure integration of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and Azure tools.
• Manage IAM Identity Center, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Support cloud-native application deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams for lifecycle management.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Cloud Engineer with AWS and Azure expertise.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda and S3.
• Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Experience with Flux CD for infrastructure management.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and security best practices.
• Ability to monitor cloud environments effectively.
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
• Fluent in English.
• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
