Azure Migration Engineer - Remote

Overview

Venesco LLC is looking for an Sr. Azure Migration Consultant who will play a pivotal role the complex process of transitioning from legacy on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform.

In Short

• Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
• Develop migration strategies and roadmaps tailored to the needs of the legacy systems.
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to multiple implementation teams.
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and status updates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Create documentation for migrated systems, processes, and configurations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps tools and services.
• 3+ years of a client facing role with demonstrated proficiency in relationship building.
• 3+ years of experience in software development or cloud computing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experienced in Microsoft 365 tools, including Visio.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
